Job 14:14,15 -If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes.  You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands.
My deepest condolences.

I think growing up I spent more time at the Altobello's than at my house. There was always a welcome door. She was always so kind to me. Every year at Thanksgiving she would donate her Martins turkey to a needy family at our church. When I visited her at Piney Valley she seemed so at peace and content. She always had her sweet smile and showed off robin's paintings. She will be missed!

I mainly got to know Jackie while she was a resident at Piney Valley. We had a lot of laughs together and I enjoyed being around her. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Please know that all of her family is in my prayers.

I worked with Jackie at Romig's Drug Store back in the early 70's. She had a serious work ethic, but she knew how to have fun. The teenagers who invaded Romig's during lunchtime everyday couldn't pull anything over on her! Jackie was always very kind to this 14-, 15-, 16-year-old during those years. Who knew at that time that my daughter would marry her grandson :) After Jackie could no longer stay in her own home and she went to Piney Valley, her mind wasn't always what it once was. But----she could still reminisce with me about the good old days at Romig's. She didn't forget anything about that time! One of my best memories of her is of watching her dance the night away at Emily and Matthew's wedding reception in June 2013. She had a great time....dancing with all the little great-grandchildren, as well as her sons and grandsons. I will always cherish my memories of Jackie. I hope she's dancing and enjoying her rewards in heaven.
