Oh my, THE most beautiful of ladies I have ever had the pleasure of sharing so many wonderful times with. She helped so much taking care of Andy and Tony as I worked. We enjoyed making many a pumpkin pie and/or pumpkin bread together. I share those cooking experiences with my granddaughter. My potato candy NEVER came out right - although she tried to teach me. I just did not have her talent. Then there were the absolutely wonderful whooeie pies - oh my gosh.
I have so much respect for Betty. I learned a lot about being a strong and independent woman from her. Not so much through her words , but through her actions. God bless you Mom for being such a powerful woman in my life.

This the second hardest post. Mickey, Andy and for Marietta (Bill) and the family, please know this impacts big. I credit this woman and Howard with keeping me grounded growing up. My second house! I was privileged to sit at her table, chase up the stairs and take trips to W Va. I love the photo you picked. It is THAT snippet in time she was so there. I know she stands with Howard and Marietta. Cards, Yahtzee always a go. She taught me how to bake an even cake. How to scrape a bowl so clean of the batter it looked washed. She babysat my baby because nobody was more trust worthy than Mom. I have missed her in later years. I will miss her until I get to grab a chair at the table. Love you. THANK YOU. Mary, Katie and Paige and Their Families. I pray the angels that brought her home now return to comfort you all.
