Willie L. Didawick

     Mt. Storm, WV – Willie L. Didawick, 77, of Mt. Storm, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Blackwater Short Term Rehabilitation Center in Thomas, WV. 
     Born on May 7, 1946 in Keyser, he was the son of the late Homer D. and Mildred M. (Whetzel) Didawick. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paula (Davy) Didawick; son, Willie “Dimpsey” Didawick, Jr.; brother, Edward Didawick and his sister, Shirley Didawick. 
     Willie was the Owner of W & W Logging Company. His passion for Maple Syrup inspired him to establish the Sugar Shack Maple Syrup Company. He was a member of the Locust Grove Church in Mt. Storm and a Trustee for the Locust Grove Cemetery. He also was a member of the Mountain Top Hunting Club and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 
     Surviving are his children, Billy Didawick and wife Kim of Mt. Storm, Linda Jones and husband Michael of Hartmansville, WV, Chris Dubose of Emerald Isle, NC and Missy Harvey and husband Bobby of Mt. Storm and his brother Tom M. Didawick of Purgitsville, WV. He is also survived by his grandchildren, M.J Jones, Brandon Jones, Monica Brown, Miranda Rohrbaugh, Jacob Dubose, Jordan Dubose, Kayla Harvey and Joseph Dubose and his great-grandchildren, Wesley Jones, Morgan Jones, Cameron Brown, Madelyn Rohrbaugh, Sadie Rohrbaugh and Luke Kitzmiller.

     Friends will be received at the Locust Grove Church on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the Church on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 2:00pm with Reverend James Reed officiating. Visitation prior to service from 1:00-2:00pm. Interment will be held in Locust Grove Church Cemetery, Mt. Storm. 
     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
