Wanda (Thomas) Mills

     CONVOY, OH – Wanda (Thomas) Mills, 86, of Convoy, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Vancrest of Convoy.

     Born on December 23, 1933 in Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Don Tusing and Ernest Mills.

    Wanda married her first husband and had her three children before marrying and moving with her second husband, Don Tusing to Florida. She and Don owned and operated a Variety Store until his passing then she return home to Ohio.  Once back in Ohio she married her long -time friend, Ernest Mills.  Both in their retirement years they enjoyed traveling around the U.S. in an RV. 

     She was an active member of the Van Wert VFW Post #5803 and AMVets Post 698 Ladies Auxiliaries.

    Surviving are her three children, Thomas Mittower of CA, Linda Mittower, NC and Kevin Mittower of OH; step-son, Matthew Mills and wife Jeanine of Convoy, OH; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

     A graveside service will be held in Eckart Cemetery on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00am.

      A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1:00pm at the home of Thelma Cox.
