Vivian Virginia Newhouse

     KEYSER, WV- Vivian Virginia Newhouse, 85, of Keyser, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Keyser Healthcare Center.

     Born on February 23, 1938 in Osage, WV, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Syrus and Anna (Hart) Newhouse.

     Vivian graduated from the Monongalia School of Nursing in Morgantown, WV. As a Registered Nurse she worked at the United Protestant Hospital, Morgantown, Sacred Heart, Cumberland and Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser. She was a Baptist by faith and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

     Surviving are her brother, Samuel “Jim” Newhouse of Keyser and her sisters, Mary Saylor of Walkersville, WV and Lillian Lee Kyle of Flemington, WV. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. 

     A graveside service will be held in the Zoar Cemetery, Laurel Point, WV on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 3:00pm with the Pastor Jason Sheffstall officiating.

     Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
