Terrance Lee Holderby
Keyser, WV – Terrance Lee Holderby, 72, of Keyser, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022.
Born October 4, 1950, in Keyser, he was a son of the Glenn Mills and Eula Pearl (Leatherman) Holderby. He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Gene, Richard and Joe and his two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Thomas and Deborah Ward.
Terrance was a graduate of Keyser High School and a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an Inspector for the Maryland State Highway Administration for over 35 years and continued serving the state as a contractor until after his retirement.
Terry loved watching his sons and daughter participate in sports and coached several years of youth football, winning multiple championships. He was a proud member of the Cumberland Cougars Football team and had a tryout with the Washington Redskins. Terry has a zest for life and inspiring kids to work their hardest and was adored by all his athletes.
Surviving are his children, Kevin Holderby and wife Missy, Erik Holderby, Aaron Holderby and wife Heather and Eulah Leah Suazo; two brothers, Wilber Holderby and Jack Holderby and two sisters, Barbara Shreve and Patricia Shaffer. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, Ryleigh, Shane, Chase, Ayanna, Mylah, Everleigh, Elijah, Avery, Madalyn and Cade and his two great grandchildren. He will be missed by several Nieces and Nephews
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Inurnment will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
