T Scott Wilson Obituary

Theodore “Scott” Wilson, 84, formerly of Keyser, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, Maryland.

Born on January 30, 1942, in Swanton, Scott was the son of the late Theodore Victor Wilson and Margaret C. Clark Wilson. From an early age, he embodied the values of hard work, humility, and quiet strength—qualities that remained with him throughout his life and defined the man he became.

Scott dedicated many years of service as a mechanic at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland. Gifted with skilled hands and a patient spirit, he approached every task with care and precision. His dependability and steady work ethic earned him the respect of coworkers and friends alike. He took pride not only in the work he did but in being someone others could count on without hesitation.

Family was at the heart of Scott’s life. He cherished time spent with loved ones and found joy in simple gatherings, shared stories, and the comfort of familiar faces. He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Donna Dawson (Donald) ; Sherry Rodeheaver (Phil); Margaret McCloud (Al); Pamela Miller (Larry); and Jack Michaels Jr.; along with his brother-in-law, Emery Paugh; his sister-in-law, Arlene Wilson; and other extended family members who will treasure his memory.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his brother, William Robert Wilson; his four sisters, Dora Michaels, Eola Reel, Patience Paugh, and Kathryn Wilson; his nephew, Daniel Michaels (Margie); and his beloved companion, Mary L. Wood.

Scott’s life was marked by simplicity, loyalty, and enduring family ties. Though he preferred a quiet path, his presence was steady and reassuring, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
