Stephen Kent “Poppy” Ward

     KEYSER, WV - Stephen Kent “Poppy” Ward, 67, of S. Main Street, Keyser, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Ruby Memorial in Morgantown, WV.

      Born on December 30, 1952, he was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Ward and Helen Louise (Haines) Ward; his brother, Rick Ward; his spouse, Deborah Ward and daughter, Angela Ward.

     Surviving are his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ward; brother Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Ward; sister, Brenda Rinard; brother, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Ward; daughter, Stacey Ward; grandchildren, Mikey Smith, Lexy Davis and husband Trae Davis; Ethan and Megan Morton; Iden Blizzard, Ryan Beall; and great-grandchildren, Zamar Ward; Audrey Davis; and soon-to-be, Elsie Morton; and beloved dog “Scatter” and cat “Kat”.

     A memorial service will not be held until the pandemic and restrictions have been lifted. An official notice will be posted in the newspaper when more information is known on service.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
