Roger Dale Markwood

     Halethorpe, MD – Roger Dale Markwood, 62, of Halethorpe, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence.

     Born on July 15, 1958 in Baltimore City, MD, he was a son of the late Otha Albert Markwood and Nelleta Elaine Reel. He is also preceded in death by a half-sister, Dottie Hinkle.

     Mr. Markwood was a Mechanic Maintenance Tech. at Domino Sugar Company and was a Baptist in faith.

     Surviving are his brothers, Robert Gregory Markwood and wife Jeanette, Randall Gary Markwood, Ronald Gene Markwood and his wife Kimberly and Rodney Dean Markwood; his sister, Regina E. Markwood and half-sisters, Corena M. Harman and husband John and Karen Fischer and husband Fred. He is also survived by his niece, Katie Markwood; two nephews, Ronald G. Markwood, Jr. and wife Natalie and Dennis Markwood; his great nephews, Baron and Mason Markwood and a brother-in-law, Charles Hinkle.

     A private family visitation was held at the Markwood Funeral home on August 1, 2020 from 11:00am – 12:30pm with a graveside service following at 1:15pm in Lahmansville Cemetery with the Reverend Jody Bean officiating.
