Robert “Bob” Hershel Shrader

     KEYSER, WV – Robert “Bob” Hershel Shrader, 64, of Keyser, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Keyser Healthcare Center. 

     Born on February 11, 1961 in Tacoma Park, MD, he was the son of Judith Leslie (Cosgrave) Shrader and the late Steward Edward Shrader.

     Robert graduated from Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, Maryland in 1979. He had a career with FritoLay and was a former produce manager.

     He was a faithful Protestant whose deep personal relationship with the Lord guided his life. A devoted family man, he loved his children, grandchildren and his special dog that passed away “Toto”. He was an avid outdoorsman; he found joy in hunting, fishing, good music and at one time tending to his abundant vegetable garden. 

     Left to cherish in his memory in addition to his mother, Judith Leslie (Cosgrave) Shrader of Monroe, NC are his children, Jason Shrader and wife Lauren of Walkersville, MD, Donna Shrader of Danville, VA and Robert Shrader of Derwood, MD; three grandchildren, Vincent Shrader, Olivia Shrader and Nyasia Shrader; a brother, Les Shrader and wife Julie of Charlotte, NC and his two sisters, Teri Ryan and husband Rodney of Elk Garden, WV and Ginger Shrader of Monroe, NC. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

     In respecting Mr. Shrader's wishes his body will be cremated. A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held at a later date with his family and close friends.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
