     KEYSER, WV – Rebecca Sue Ortt, 67, of Keyser, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Potomac Valley Hospital.
     Born on September 10, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Cosby K. and Gertrude M. “Trudy” (Weisz) Morris. She is also preceded in death by her husband, David Timothy Ortt, Sr; son, David Timothy Ortt, Jr.; infant grandson, Anthony Ortt; brother, Robert Dale “Bobby” Morris; sister, Patricia Hall; brother-in-law, Joseph Kun, sister-in-law, Linda Wilford-Morris; her nieces, Lindsay Nicole Morris and Trudy Cook and nephew, Ricky Lee Davis.
     Rebecca was a loving wife, proud mother and devoted homemaker. She was a catholic by faith and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. 
     Left to cherish in her memory are her sons, Matthew Paul Ortt and fiancé Lisa Payton and Christopher Lee Ortt and wife Ladonna; grandchildren, Nathan Ortt, Nicolas Ortt, Emily Ortt, Brandon Ortt, Shelby Ortt, Eddie Smith and Wyatt Ortt; great-grandchildren, Kohlson Harvey Ortt and Maverick Christopher Largent; brothers, Kevin Cobsy "Cubby" Morris, Glenn Morris, Kenneth Morris and wife Jennifer and sisters, Earlene Kuhn, Bonnie Manning and husband Ronald and Pamela Ivarson. She is also survived by  numerous nieces and nephews. 
     Friends will be received on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 3:00-4:00pm. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 4:00pm with Deacon Harold Bradley. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date.
