Rebecca Suzanne Eaton
Keyser, WV – Rebecca Suzanne Eaton, 48, of Keyser, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at WVU Medicine, Potomac Valley Hospital.
Born on November 11, 1973 in Three Churches, WV, she was a daughter of Nancy Staggs Oates and the late Gerald Allen Oates and step-mother Susan K. Oates. She is also preceded in death by her brother, James Melton.
Rebecca was a 1991 graduate of Keyser High School. She was a self-employed Professional Painter. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
Rebecca was loving and giving with the purest heart and the kindest soul. If she had the means she would give you anything you needed. She loved spending quality time with her most dear loved ones. She loved the outdoors and was always up for an adventure whether it be going hiking, floating, or camping.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Nancy (Staggs) Oates and step-mother Susan Oates are her children, Jalen M. Oates and Sarah K. Meek; along with a lot of “extra” kids she called hers; 2 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Oates, Matthew Oates, Andrew Amtower and Michael Amtower. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and her companion John Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Rebecca to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
A Celebration of Rebecca’s Life will be held at the Keyser Moose Lodge#662, 570 S. Mineral St, Keyser, WV 26726 on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 5:00pm
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
