Patricia Cook Popp
KEYSER, WV – Patricia Cook Popp, 78, of Keyser, passes away on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Keyser Healthcare Center.
Born on May 20, 1946 in Keyser, she is a daughter of the late Ira Jacob Cook and Myrtle Cook Mathena. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Luther Bud Cook and her sisters, Martha Logan, Neva Morfesi and Margery Stern and her loving companion, Mike Kuykendall.
Patricia graduated from Keyser High School, Class of 1964, attended Potomac State College and earned her AA in Medical Technology with Summa Cum Laude at Allegany College. She retired as a Medical Lab Technician at Potomac Valley Hospital and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. She was a Baptist by faith and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish in her memory are her children, Charles Popp and Jenny Belles both of Keyser; two sisters, Linda Durbin and husband David of Lancaster, OH and Doris Lyon of New Creek, WV, and her grandchildren, T.J., Alec, Jared, Ian and Leah Gardner.
A private family service and committal will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
