Patricia J. “Pat” Oglesbee

     Keyser, WV – Patricia J. “Pat” Oglesbee, 91, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Potomac Valley Hospital.

     Born no March 25, 1933 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late William T. Hines and Anna Frances (Rogers) Hines. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Arthur Willard Oglesbee; her sisters, Mary Lou Vest, Elaine Umstot and Bonnie Kay Foor and her three brothers, William “Bill”, Donald and Jerry Hines.

    Pat graduated from Keyser High School and attended Potomac State College. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and sister. She retired from Romig Drug Store with 30 plus years as a sales clerk and was a former employee at Kight Drug Store.  She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

     Left to cherish in her memory are her beloved son, Rodney K. Oglesbee of Keyser, a brother, Wayne “Abe” Hines and wife Sue; niece, Victoria S. House and husband Leroy and numerous other special nieces and nephews.

     In respecting Pat’s wishes, her body will be cremated and there will be no public services. A private family graveside service will be held at the Cabin Run Cemetery.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
