Nancy Margaret Swick
KEYSER, WV – Nancy Margaret Swick, 78, of Keyser, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at WVU Medicine Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
Born on August 24, 1945, in Keyser, she is the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Elsie M. (Coffman) Blackburn. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Ernest M. “Sonny” Blackburn; her sisters, Dorothy Shaw and Mary Margaret (Infant) and a brother-in-law, Wayne Shaw.
Nancy graduated from Keyser High School and was a member of the Keyser Church of the Brethren. She was a devoted homemaker and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She will be dearly missed by all.
Left to cherish in her memory are her beloved husband, James A. Swick; children, Brian S. Swick and Ronald A. Swick; sister, Janet Williams and husband Ray of Arthurdale, WV; her sister-in-law, Dorothy J. “Dottie” Blackburn; favorite niece, Bonnie Dixon and nephew, Gary Shaw and wife Mary Jane. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Nancy M. Swick to the Mineral County Humane Society, c/o Joy Fertig, 831 Cut Off Road, Keyser, WV 26726
A private family service and interment will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
