N. Keith Feaster
NEW CREEK, WV - N. Keith Feaster, 88, of New Creek, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Sterling Care of Frostburg Village.
Born March 20, 1936, in Antioch, WV, he was a son of the late Ira C. and Beulah M. (Bane) Feaster.
Keith graduated from Keyser High School, Class of 1955. After graduating, he started his life long career of logging, securing a contract with West Virginia Pulp and Paper. He was a pulpwood suppler to the mill for almost 60 years.
Growing up on a farm he continued to raise cattle. Keith retired as a school bus driver for Mineral County Schools with 20 years of service.
Keith was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Marjorie Ann (Gales) Feaster, 85, of New Creek, passed away on Friday November 5, 2021 at Sterling Care of Frostburg Village.
Born on July 29, 1936, in Keyser, WV she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Wilma (Malcomb) Gales. Marjorie was raise by her mother and step father, Joseph S. Taylor.
Marjorie graduated from Keyser High School, Class of 1955 and Scotty’s Beauty School. She was employed by both Monroe’s Beauty Shop and Modern Beauty Shop with many lifelong clients.
In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence B. Feaster; sister, Mildred Juanita (Feaster) Roberts and his grandson, Christopher S. Feaster. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Left to cherish in his memory are his sons, Chris L. Feaster and wife Linda and Kevin L. Feaster and fiancé, Tamra Whipp; grandchildren, Chandra Wilson and husband James, Shayla Judy and husband Cody, Daniel Feaster and wife Trish, Colby Feaster and Adam Whipp. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Kyiah Green, Slade Judy, Atalie Wilson, Ryler Wilson, Kale Feaster, Holden Feaster, Shilo Judy and Stone Judy.
The family would like to thank Sterling Care Nursing Home in Frostburg for their love and support for both Keith and Marjorie.
In respecting Keith and Marjorie’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or funeral service. A private family service and committal will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens with Pastor Justin Daugherty officiating.
