Morris Ray Kiddy
KEYSER, WV – Morris Ray Kiddy, 93, of Keyser, died on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Potomac Valley Hospital.
Born on December 3, 1928 in Buckhannon, WV, he was the son of the late William G. and Lillian P. (Gregory) Kiddy and the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Randal M. Kiddy.
Morris graduated from Buckhannon Upshur High School, 1948; Potomac State, 1950; American University, 1958 where he earned his BA and the University Maryland Medical School in Cytology, 1959. He was a United States Army Veteran and worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Laboratory Service Supervisor. He was a member of Boyce Houser Post 41, American Legion, Resvistan, Med Technologist M.T. (ASCP) Cytotechnologist (ASCP), NARFE Association and of Grace United Methodist church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his loving wife, Janet Louise Kiddy; his son, Timothy L. Kiddy and wife Lisa of O’Brien, FL; his daughter-in-law, Sharyon Kiddy and his grandchildren, Donald Kiddy and Patricia Kiddy. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Bill Ludwick and wife Mary, Don Ludwick and wife Linda, and sister-in-law, Marilyn Eisentrout and husband Ed.
A Memorial service and committal in Arnold Cemetery, Junction, WV will be held at a later date.
