Mary Jane (Cramer) Jones
KEYSER, WV – Mary Jane (Cramer) Jones, 87, of Keyser, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on April 25, 1938 in Bayard, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wellington Bond Cramer and Madge Loraine (Kelley) Cramer. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Edward Jones; her daughter, Debra Jean Taylor; infant daughter, Aimee Lorayne Jones and sister-in-law, Emma Jean (Jones) Munsie.
Mary Jane graduated from Bayard High School, Class of 1956 and was a faithful member of the Fountain United Brethren Church. She was a devoted homemaker and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She formerly was employed by G.C. Murphy Co., Mission Thrift Store and also worked as a Demo Representative for supermarkets. Mary Jane will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish in her memory are her sons, James Edward Jones and wife Kimberly of Stephens City, VA and Mark William Jones and wife Jeanne of Keyser; her son-in-law, Clinton D. Taylor of Keyser and her brother, Jack E. Cramer and wife Joanna of Mt. Storm, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashlee Newlin and husband Geoff, Danny Jones, Tracy Gough and husband Brandon, Colton Jones and wife Savannah, Brittney Treutle and husband Nathan, Jamison Jones and wife Brooke and Bethany Evans and husband Nathan; her 8 great- grandchildren with twins to be born in the fall and her niece, Rhonda Munsie Beeman and husband Mike.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mary Jane Jones to the Fountain United Brethren Church, 11585 Knobley Road, Keyser, WV 26726.
Friends will be received on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Fountain United Brethren Church at 11:00am with Pastor Lucas Taylor officiating. Interment will follow the services in Cabin Run Cemetery.
