Margaret A. Calhoun
KEYSER, WV – Margaret A. Calhoun, 94, formerly of 597 W. Piedmont Street, Keyser, died on July 11, 2024 at Keyser Heathcare Center.
Born on September 22, 1929 in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah (Cox) Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harry “Vic” Calhoun, a brother Homer Cooper, a sister Mary Elizabeth Cooper, a son Donald Lee Riggleman, Sr. and a grandson Donald Lee Riggleman, Jr. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Calhoun was a member of Sunnyside Covenant Brethren Church and Mineral County Senior Citizens.
She is survived by one grandson, Scott Riggleman.
Special thanks are extended to WVU Hospice and Keyser Healthcare Center for their care of Margaret.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser on Tuesday, July 16 from 4 to 5pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home immediately after visitation at 5pm with the Reverend Randy Shoemaker officiating.
Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser. There will be no grave side services.
