Lois “Tiney” Llewellyn
BRUNSWICK, MD – Lois “Tiney” (Simmons) Llewellyn, 56, of Brunswick, Md, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2008.
Born on July 7, 1952 in Keyser, she was a daughter of Freda Louise (Steward) Simmons and the late William Marvin Simmons. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Steward.
With the help of our Lord and Savior, Tiney fought and won a courageous battle with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. She was attacked by multiple rare blood infections and beat each one. She was attacked by a leaking bowel that developed into a disease that ate away at her spine, and the Lord delivered her from it. Through it all, she remained unmovable and steadfast in her faith and the Lord worked many miracles on and through her. She has been a testimony to all who have had the pleasure of knowing her.
Tiney was a member of Gapland Christian Church in Knoxville, Md and a 1971 graduate of Keyser High School.
Surviving in addition to her mother, Freda Simmons of Keyser, are her husband of 35 years, David Llewellyn of Brunswick, Md and her three sons, David William Llewellyn, Brian David Llewellyn, both of Frederick, Md and Christopher Brian Llewellyn of Brunswick, Md.
