Lee Anna Milavec Wallace
KEYSER, WV – Lee Anna Milavec Wallace, 83, of Keyser, died on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland.
Born Saturday, March 25, 1939 in Emoryville, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Wilson “Bill” Junkins and Queenie (Kitzmiller) Junkins. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Milavec in 1970 and Charles Wallace in 2006 and sister, Nelleen White.
Lee Anna graduated from Elk Garden High School, Class of 1957, and was very active in arranging class reunions. Retired from M&T Bank (formerly the National Bank of Keyser) she spent most of her time volunteering at Piney Valley, Potomac Valley Hospital of WV University and Warm the Children. She also was a member of First United Methodist Church where she volunteered with the After School Program and numerous other duties of the church. She was a prolific greeting card sender and loved to play cards.
Surviving are her two daughters, Cynthia Hoesman & husband Craig of Ellicott City, MD and Anita Fitzgerald & husband Tim of Keyser, WV; six grandchildren, Thomas Hoesman and wife Allie, Seth Hoesman, Emma Hoesman, Travis Hayward, Autum Footen and husband Derek and Summer Pepper; and her great-grandchildren, Kinley Footen, Lilly Footen and Louise Hoesman. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen Kooken and husband Edward of Keyser, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, Keyser at 12:30pm with Pastor Beth Jacobson and Reverend Curtis Crawford officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior at the church. Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
