Lanny West Robinson

     KEYSER, WV - Lanny West Robinson, 76, of Keyser, died on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his residence.

     Born on May 20, 1946 in Keyser, he was the son of the late Orlando West and Amanda Margaret (Robison) Robinson. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy (Polland) Robinson; a son, Shawn Robinson and his two sisters, Betty Nogle and Edith Klauk. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

     Lanny worked as a Forklift Driver and was a United States Air Force Veteran who served during Vietnam. He was of Mormon faith and a member of the Boyce-Houser Post 41 American Legion and the Civil Air Patrol. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

     Surviving are his sons, Lanny W. Robinson, II and wife Sibyl of Barton, MD and Daniel E. Robinson and wife Mandy and his grandchildren, Emma, Logan, Clay, Brynn, Riley, Ian, Ryan, Elijah and Isabella.

    Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery Chapel, Flintstone, MD at 2:00pm with Bishop Matthew Georgeson officiating. Interment and Military Honors accorded by The United States National Air Force Honor Guard and American Legion Post #13 Honor Guard in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
