Jennie Geraldine Ruth  (Lease) Glaze

     Van Wert, OH – Jennie Geraldine Ruth (Lease) Glaze, 85, of Van Wert, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2021 at Van Wert Manor.

     Born on July 8, 1936 of Westernport, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth Lease. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin E. Glaze; former husbands, Richard F. Braumbeck and Ernie A. Mills and her siblings, Alverta Miller, Jessie Mills, Evelyn Crites, Vernon Lease and Eleanor Grubaugh.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

     She graduated from Romney High School, Class of 1954 and the Catherman’s Business School in Cumberland, MD. She retired from Aeroquip in Van Wert and was formerly employed by Park Pizza in Newark, OH and the Good Year Company in Bradner, OH. She was Baptist by faith and in her younger years played the piano for the church.  She enjoyed the mountains and loved coming home to spend time with her family and friends. She loved going to family gathering and playing Bingo. She had an extensive collection of earrings from tiny little stones to miniature dentures and had a beautiful Angel collection.

     Left to cherish Jennie’s memory are her children, Brenda (Braumbeck) Schriver of Van Wert, OH, Richalene (Braumbeck) Baxter of Fostoria, OH and Matthew D. Mills of Convoy, OH; her foster daughter, Pam Hooverman; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. she is also survived by her special nieces and nephews. 

     A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Cabin Run Cemetery, Fountain, WV at Noon. A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside services at the home of Thelma Cox.
