Janet Romain Hise

    Janet Hise, 85, passed away November 9, 2025 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

    Born July 7, 1940 in Romney, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Catherine Delong and was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Williams, brothers Kevin and Larry Biser of Jacksonville, FL and her sister Joyce Robinson of Albuquerque, NM.

    Left to cherish her memory are  her husband Edward Andrew Hise, her sister Diane Corbin of Preston County, her brother Charles Biser of Keyser, 4 step children, 10 step grandchildren, 15 step great-grandchildren, and 3 step great-great grandchildren.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm.  Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at 1:00pm.  Interment will follow the services in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
