James “Jim” Feaster, Sr.
NEW CREEK, WV – James “Jim” Feaster, Sr., 75, of New Creek, passed away at home on Sunday, February 18, 2018 after a long struggle with liver disease.
Jim was born April 24, 1942 in Keyser and grew up in Beryl. He was the son of the late Garland and Dorothy Feaster.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the past 40 years. He retired from the Boiler Makers as a certified Welding Inspector and was a member of the Davis Lodge#51, AF & AM and Osiris Shrine.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Marlene Feaster, his three children, Garlene Bosley, Pam Dulyea and James Feaster, Jr.; his six grandchildren, Heather Ketterman, Patience Burke, Virginia Hott, Shannon Hott, James Feaster, III and Kevin William Yelton. Surviving also are his 13 great-grandchildren and two siblings, Dennis Feaster and Carolyn Sue Asjodi.
The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, February 23, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted by Archie “Bill” Self at the funeral home on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
Masonic Graveside Service will be provided by the Davis Lodge#51, AF & AM.
