James Dinteman Obituary

James Mark Dinteman, born on November 4, 1950, in Albany, New York, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, in Romney, West Virginia. He was 75 years old.

Born and raised in the beautiful hills of West Virginia, Jamie carried the spirit of his home state with him throughout his life. West Virginia was always home in his heart. Jamie proudly served his country, during Vietnam, as a member of the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he pursued a career in sales and bail bonds. Beyond his professional endeavors, Jamie was also an author and took great pride in writing and publishing a book. He will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom and sharing stories with anyone he met. He also had a lifelong passion and joy for motorcycles and classic cars.

He is survived by his two beloved sons, Che Dinteman of Keyser, West Virginia, and Tylor Dinteman. He is also survived by his sister, Shelby K. Redondo, and her husband Antonio. James was predeceased by his parents, Walter Dinteman and Betty Jean Cross Dinteman.

James’s memory will be cherished by those who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
