     Burlington, WV - Jakob Ryan Watson, 21, of Burlington, tragically died on Thursday, June 16, 2022 after a motorcycle accident in Romney, WV.

     Born on July 28, 2000 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of Thomas M. Watson and Kimberly (Smith) Moore.

     Jakob graduated from Keyser High School and was a laborer for a variety of construction companies. He was a member of the St. Peters Church in Westernport, MD and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

     In addition to his parents, he is survived by his nanny, Patsy L. Watson; brother, Nicolas Smith; sister, Nina Shirey and his loving companion, Breanna Brafford. He is also survived by his aunt, uncles and cousins.  

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 2:00 -4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the funeral home at 11:00am with Father Giles Levasseur officiating. Interment will follow the service in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
