Herman R. Judy, Sr.

     KEYSER, WV – Herman R. Judy, Sr., 77, of Keyser, died on Monday, June 7, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland.

     Born on January 29, 1944 in Keyser, he was a son of the late Vernon and Sylvia Susan (Kimble) Judy.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Hartman) Judy on October 21, 2006 and his daughter, Debbie Broadwater on August 1, 2016.

     Mr. Judy retired from Penn Ventilator and was a former Keyser councilman.  He had numerous hobbies especially working on small motors like cycles, cars, etc. 

    Surviving are his son, Rick Judy and wife Elaine of Burlington; his sisters, Phyllis Hines of Keyser and Nina Mae Harris of Dayton, OH and  his son-in-law, Richard Broadwater of Westernport. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

     Friends will be received on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Gwen Wolford officiating. Interment held in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
