Helen Mae Davis
KEYSER, WV – Helen Mae Davis, 67, of Keyser, died on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at her residence.
Born on September 21, 1953 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Leona Irene (Haggerty) and John H. Davis, Sr. She is also preceded in death by her brother, John H. Davis, Jr.
Helen was a Clerk for Van Myra Gas Station in Burlington, WV and was formerly employed as a seamstress for the Keyser Garment Factory, Cook for the Rosemont Restaurant and as a Caregiver. She graduated from Keyser High School, Class of 1972 and was a member of the VFW Nancy Hanks Post #3518 Ladies Auxiliary, Keyser. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her sister, Vickie I. Bell and husband Bill of New Creek, WV; her nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Mary Davis Brewer and special friend, Patricia O’Reilly and her family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Believers Fellowship, 155 East Street, Keyser from 2:00 -3:00pm. Funeral services immediately following visitation at 3:00pm with the Reverend Randy Crowe officiating. Private entombment and committal service in Potomac Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Due to the current health concerns, all guests are required to wear face masks and exercise social distancing at all time.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
