Heather L. Morton, 44, of Keyser, was called by the Lord on December 24, 2025 at J.W. Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Heather was born January 1, 1981 in Cumberland, MD to Thomas Allen Morton, Sr. and Judith Ann “Carr” Morton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Francis and Jim Carr of Keyser and Frieda and John Morton of Swanton, MD; and cousin Harold “Chip” Duckworth.
Heather was a high school graduate from Keyser. She was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle Accident Campus Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and quality time with her family.
Surviving are her parents Judith “Judy” Morton and Thomas “Tom” Morton, Sr., fiance’ Jeremy Newhouse, her children Sierra Friel and fiance’ Waqar Khan of Minnesota, Nevaeh Friel and fiance’ Gabriel Pezzanite of Keyser, Peyton and Bailey Cavey of Maryland. She will be gratefully missed by her children. Also surviving are her brothers Thomas Morton Jr. and fiance’ Brooke King, Stanley Morton, Ricky Delawder, Kurtis Morton and wife Jenny, Steven Morton and wife Candice; her sisters Sabrina Morton and fiance’ Joe McKenzie, Janie Anderson, and Aimee Anderson.
She also had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles that will miss her.
Heather’s smile would light up a room when she walked in and will be missed by many.
Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 2:00pm at Calvary Tabernacle Accident Campus located at 27895 Garrett Highway in Accident, MD with Reverend Pascal Crites officiating.
