Harold E. Hines

     KEYSER, W.Va. – Harold E. Hines, 66, of Rt. 5, Keyser, died Friday, January 11, 2008, at Potomac Valley Hospital.

     Born April 26, 1941, in Keyser, he was a son of the late Emory Lee and Edna Mae (Rotruck) Hines.  He was also preceded in death by his infant twin brother Howard Elvin Hines, Richard Allen Hines and James Emory Hines and sisters, Dorothy Lee Kesner and Elva Jean Staggs.

     Harold was a retired truck driver and heavy equipment operator for WV State Highways and U.S. Army Cuban Crisis.

     Surviving are his wife, Phyllis A. (Judy) Hines; two sons, Robert E. Hines and Ronnie E. Hines, all of Keyser; two sisters, Gloria Mae Gibson of Keyser and Olga June Feldman of Philadelphia, PA.  He is also survived by brother-in-law, Harry Staggs; his nieces and nephews; special friends, Julie Ann Harvey, Robert Nesselrodt, John Barbarito, Archie Self, Dane Dolly, Dana Robinson and family, Harry Stevens, Kenny Thomas, Eddie Kight, Ronald McDonald and Glenn Riggleman and family, Kenny Ellifritz and family and Ray Miller.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Monday from Noon to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held immediately after the viewing at 1 p.m.  with the Reverend Fredric Villinger and Dr. Elizabeth Villinger officiating.  Interment will follow in Duling Cemetery, Keyser.  Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery.
