Harmon Lee Crites, Sr.
Fort Ashby, WV – Harmon Lee Crites, Sr., 82, of Fort Ashby, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 26, 2024 after a tragic vehicle accident in Springfield, WV.
Born on February 11, 1942, in Garrett County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Boston and Ruth Katherine (Bittinger) Crites. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Emory Crites and Raymond Leslie Crites.
Harmon was a retired as a Self-employed Construction Heavy Equipment Operator and was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of the VFW Post 6667 Fort Ashby and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish in his memory are his son, Harmon Lee Crites, Jr.; daughter, Tina Crites; grandchildren, Chassy Paugh and husband Jeff, Andie Sites and husband Randy, Jordan Bailey and Garrett Crites; great-grandson, Wyatt Paugh and sister, Rebecca Bible and husband Eugene. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the VFW Post 6667, 28 Cottage Grove Lane, Fort Ashby, WV 26719 on Saturday, May 25, 2024 starting at 4:00pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
