Gregory Wayne Sions

     Keyser, WV- Gregory Wayne Sions, 67, of Keyser, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at home.

     Born on October 05, 1957 in Moorefield, WV, he was the son of the late Wayne Sions. In addition to his father, his is also preceded in death by his brother, Donald Sions. 

     Greg graduated from Moorefield High School with a Mechanic Degree and spent over 30 years as a certified Mechanic.  He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Greg will be remembered for his kindness and love for his family. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.

     Left to cherish in his memory are his sister, Kathy Grapes; his niece, Brandi Sions “Delawder” and husband Josh and two nephews, Derick Grapes and Donnie Corbin and wife Keisha. He is also survived by his by his 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be in honor of Gregory Sions to the Markwood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 912, Keyser, WV 26726 to help defray funeral expenses.

     Family and friends are welcome to the Calvary United Methodist Church on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 to a Celebration of Greg’s Life at 11:00am with Pastor Beth Jacobson officiating.
