     KEYSER, WV – Goldie Francis Long, 51, of Keyser, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA.

     Born on July 25, 1973 in Point Pleasant, WV, she was the daughter of Virgil Raymond Patterson, Sr. and the late JoAnne (Gillispie) Patterson.

     Goldie was a House Keeper for the Keyser Healthcare Center and former Custodian for Beale Elementary School. She was a faithful member of the Branch Full Gospel Church in McCoole, MD. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met with her love, kindness and joy.

     Left to cherish in her memory in addition to her father, Virgil are her loving husband, David Lee Long; children, Tyler M. Queen, Goldie M. Queen, David S. Long, Matthew Jacob Long and Brittany L. Long; her cherished grandchildren, Ariana B. Queen, Jackson A. Queen and Jackson R. Delawder; brothers, Carl Eugene Patterson, Virgil Raymond Patterson, Jr. and Donnie Everett Patterson and her sisters, Judy Denias, Virginia Ramsey, Connie Johnson and Effie Ferguson. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Bonnie Cathell; niece, Kiersten Miller and her special friend, Virginia Hall and husband Roger.

     A memorial service will be held at the Branch Full Gospel Church on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00pm with Pastor Jack Lease officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
