Gary Neil Paugh

     Swanton, MD – Gary Neil Paugh, 78, of Swanton, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

     Born on October 29, 1942 in Barnum, WV, he was a son of the late Lloyd W. “Pap” Paugh and Beatrice Virginia “Tag” ”Big Mom” (Bray) Paugh.  He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Jared “Jerry” Paugh and Larry Paugh and infant sister, Joann.

     Gary graduated from Elk Garden High School and was a retired Coal Miner.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

     He leaves behind to cherish his memory three sons, Dave Moore and wife Bonnie of Westernport, MD, Gary Wayne Paugh and wife Lauren of Keyser, WV and Jeffrey N. Paugh and wife Dinah of Rowlesburg, WV; a brother, Terry Paugh and wife Doris of Barnum, WV; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Ellen Paugh of Elk Garden, WV and Joyce Paugh; special friends Marshall and Susan Grandillo and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

   The family wishes to leave a special thanks to “His Girls” at the Davita Renal Center of Keyser for their loving support, compassion and excellent care.

     Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Gary Neil Paugh to the American Kidney Foundation at 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852

     Friends will be received on Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser from, 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Funeral Home at 1:00pm with the Pastor Ken Mason officiating. Interment will be held in Tasker Cemetery, Cross, WV.
