Fannie B. Barrick
KEYSER, W.Va. – Fannie B. Barrick, 93, of 375 S. Main Street, Keyser, died on Monday, October 6, 2008, at Heartland of Keyser.
Born June 22, 1915, in Hartmansville, W.Va, she was the daughter of the late Calvin S. and Sadie (Bosley) Bosley. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Luther Bosley, Walter Bosley and Emory Bosley and two sisters, Mabel Rider and D. Marie Aronhalt.
Mrs. Barrick was retired as a nurse's aide at Potomac Valley Hospital. She was a member of the Keyser Church of the Brethren. Fannie will be remembered for her love of gardening and the bountiful vegetables and flowers in her yard.
Surviving are her son, Ernest W. Barrick and wife, Paula of Porter, Texas; a sister, Ethel Schell of Fairmont; two grandchildren, Kim Baker and husband Glenn and Billie Barrick; six great-grandchildren: Kirstyn Barrick, Holly Baker, Ryan Barrick, Mallissia Barrick, Robby Baker and Jayden Barrick and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m.
Funeral services will be held at Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 11 am with the Reverend Dwight Ramsey and Pastor Larry Pancake officiating.
Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
