E. Kirby Adkins

    Keyser, WV, E. Kirby Adkins, 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 23,2025 at his residence.

    Kirby graduated from Ridgeley High School,  Kirby served twenty-one years as a Naval Air Crew Ordnanceman.  After retiring from the military, he worked as an electrician, then at Potomac Highland Winery.

    He  was a member of Keyser Presbyterian Church, the Davis Masonic Lodge #51 AF & AM, and the Boyce Houser Post #41 American Legion.

    Surviving are his wife Doriine and his sister Jo Adkins and her wife, Ruth Ann Andrews.  

     A celebration of life will be held at Keyser Presbyterian Church on October 4, 2025 at 11:00 am.  Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard and the Boyce Houser Post #41 American Legion Honor Guard.

      Markwood Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
