Douglas Ray Fazenbaker, Sr.

     KEYSER, WV - Douglas Ray Fazenbaker, Sr., 63, of Keyser, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at UPMC Western Maryland.

     Born on October 31, 1961 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Ray Thomas Fazenbaker, Sr. and Angeline I. “Angie” (Trenum) Fazenbaker. He is also preceded in death by his son, Douglas Ray Fazenbaker, Jr.; brothers, Raymond Fazenbaker, James Fazenbaker, and Thomas Fazenbaker; a sister, Delores Ann Fazenbaker; his father-in-law, Charles Alt, Sr. and brother-in-law, Charles Alt, Jr. and wife Tracey.

     Douglas was a self–employed Carpenter and beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

     Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Pamela Dawn (Alt) Fazenbaker; daughter, Tasha Fazenbaker and fiancé Tyler Paugh and granddaughter, Harper Paugh of Elk Garden; daughter-in-law, Amanda Coffman and grandsons, Trenton and Trevor Fazenbaker; and two additional grandchildren, Hazley and Maddox Fazenbaker; his brothers, Norman Fazenbaker of CA and Dale Fazenbaker of Westernport, MD; his sisters, Sharon Winters and husband Andy of Barton, MD, Bonnie Imes and husband Robert of Ridgeley, WV, Patsy “Pat” Watson of Burlington, WV,  Jean Michael of Barton, and Donna Fazenbaker of Keyser; his mother-in-law, Jean Alt of Keyser and brother-in-law, Scott Alt and wife Pam. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Douglas Fazenbaker, Sr. to the Markwood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 912, Keyser, WV 26726 to help defray funeral expenses.

     Friends will be received on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 11:00am -1:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00pm with Reverend Greg Moreland officiating. Interment held in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
