Dorothy May (Warnick) Whisner

     New Creek, WV - Dorothy May (Warnick) Whisner, 94, of New Creek, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at her residence. 
     Born on January 20, 1928 in Beryl, WV, she was daughter of the late Rulles and Ethel (Northcraft) Warnick. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Alfred Edgell Whisner; her son, Ronald E. Whisner, Sr.; daughter-in-law, JoAnn G. Whisner and a grandson, Michael Lane Whisner. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
     Dorothy was a devoted homemaker, whom loved her family dearly. She was formerly employed at G.C. Murphy and was a member of the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Keyser. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 
     Surviving are her two sons, Roger H. Whisner and Kevin W. Whisner and wife Tammy; her daughter Diana L. Warner and husband Rick; and her nine grandchildren, Ron Whisner and wife Stacy, Jimmy Whisner and wife Maria, Sarah Morris and husband Brad, Brittany Whisner, Monica Lauer and husband Brian, Melissa Crockett and husband Jake, Diana Cross and husband Brandon, Amanda Orr and husband Jimmy and Cody Whisner and wife Whitney. She is also survived by her 14 Great-grandchildren. 
     In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to WVU Hospice of Keyser, 100 Pin Oak Lane, Keyser, WV 26726
     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 11:00am -2:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00pm with Pastor Earl Williams officiating. Interment will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
