Donald Max Henson

     WESTERNPORT, MD – Donald Max Henson, 64, of Westernport, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at his residence.

     Born on November 16, 1957 in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Leonard Wilbur Henson and Lorraine Virginia (Kerns) Henson. He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Ryan Mattson; brother, Scott Henson and beloved nephews, A.J. Henson and Mathew Keebler.

     Donald served in the United States Army and was a Self-employed Sub Contractor, Carpenter and Builder. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and a Baptist by faith.

     He will be dearly missed and remembered by his wife, Beth Ann (Mattson) Henson; son, Jeremy Hughes; his loving grandchildren, Landon Hoover, Aubreigh Lynn-Lane Mattson, Lily Ann Mattson, Luna Lyons and Cole Michael Hughes; siblings, Lewis Henson and wife Sandi of Maryland, Sharon Johnson and husband Mike and Leisa Daemer both of Delaware and special nephew and niece Patrick Lyons. Jr. and Laura Lyons whom he raised. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. 

     A private graveside service will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
