Dewane Kennith McCusker, Sr.

     Keyser, WV- Dewane Kennith McCusker, Sr., 68, of Keyser, died on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his residence.

     Born on March 4, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Oliver D. and Lorena M. (Hampton) McCusker.

     Dewane was a self-employed Home Builder and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

     Surviving are his loving wife, Thelma L. (Hinton) McCusker; special daughter-granddaughter, Kristina “Bink” Bishop; children, Dewane McCusker, Jr. and wife Shannon, Terry Richardson, Mary Stewart, Shelby Webb and companion Chuck, Catherine Courtney and husband Buck, Sherry Doman and husband Greg, Lawrence Wilson and wife  Sinead Evans, and Shane Wilson and wife Tabby and his sisters, Nancy Holbrook and Regina Hajny. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Markwood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 912, Keyser, WV 26726, to help defray funeral expenses.

     Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 11:00 – 2:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00pm with Reverend Harold McClay. Interment will be held in Bloomington Cemetery.
