Debra Lynn “Debbie” Broadwater
KEYSER, WV - Debra Lynn “Debbie” Broadwater, 66, of Keyser, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at UPMC Western Maryland in Cumberland, MD.
Born on May 7, 1955 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Biard Michael Gardner, Sr. and Patricia Ann (Metcalfe) Gardner.
Debbie graduated from Keyser High School, Class of 1973, attended Potomac State College and earned her CNA at the Vo Tech Center. She worked as a Secretary and Receptionist for the Moran Manor Nursing Home, R.E.M. and Burlington United Methodist Services. A member of Keyser Emergency Medical Services and the Keyser Assembly of God Church. She was a church philanthropist, helping with fundraisers, drives and donating to those who are in need. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband James Lynn Broadwater; her daughter, Heather Lynn Palacios; a brother, Biard Michael Gardner, Jr. and wife Jill and her two sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” Gardner and Karen Raines and husband Steve. She is also survived by her nieces, Heidi Marie Gardner Knott, Samantha D. Robinson, Brooke D. Raines Kimble; great-niece, Emma Robinson; great-nephew, Garrett Kimble, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Memorial Contributions may be made in honor of Debbie to the Keyser Assembly of God Church, 2080 New Creek Highway, Keyser 26726.
A graveside service and committal will be held at Potomac Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2:00pm with Reverend Brian K. Smith officiating. A time of remembrance and fellowship will follow the inurnment at the Keyser Assembly of God Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
