     PAW PAW, WV - Daniel Ryan Mattson, 34, of Paw Paw, died on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Potomac Valley Hospital.

     Born on April 3, 1987 in Hershey, PA, he was the son of Donald M. and Beth Ann (Mattson) Henson. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Debra Mattson.

     Daniel was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish on ocean and water way. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

     Surviving in addition to his parents, Donald and Beth; are his loving companion, Dacinda Grainer; birth father, Jeffrey Jackson, Sr.; children, Aubreigh Lynn–Layne Mattson, Lily Ann Mattson and Willow Grainer; his brothers, Jeremy Hughes, Patrick Lyons, Jr., Jeffrey Jackson, Stephen Jackson, Nick Bradford and his sister, Laura Ashley Lyons.

     A Memorial Services will be held at the Markwood Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00am with Reverend Wayne Gosnell officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
