Charles William “Chuck” Maynard
KEYSER, WV – Charles William “Chuck” Maynard, 85, of Keyser, died on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Potomac Valley Hospital.
Born on June 5, 1938 in Barnum, WV, he was the son of the late Charles Russell and Bernadine (Randells) Maynard. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose Ann “Susie” (Niland) Maynard on December 7, 2020 and his great-granddaughter, Emree Lynne Cameron on September 18, 2021.
Chuck graduated from Piedmont High School and was a Presbyterian by faith. He retired as a Welder from Westvaco and was a United States Marine Veteran. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Surviving are his daughters, Dianne L. Smith and husband Todd of Keyser and Cathy S. Harman and husband Craig both of Keyser; grandchildren, Casey and Nyssa Smith, Kellon and Kayla Smith, Chelsea and Jarell Ross all of Keyser and Caitlin and Josh Cameron of Burlington, WV; sister-in-law, Sharon Niland and great-grandchildren, Alyson Marie Smith, Austin Charles Smith, Aleah Beth Smith, Maddox David Cameron, Kasen Sean Smith, Keyan Leo Ross, Beckley Rose Cameron, Kinsley Marie Smith and Dax Pearsyn Rose. He is also survived by many special friends.

Private family services and committal will be held in Potomac Memorial Gardens with Military honors accorded by the United States Marines Honor Guard and America Legion Post#13 Honor Guard.
Arrangements have been entrust to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
