Charles Riley “Chuck” Biser, Jr.

    Charles Riley “Chuck” Biser, Jr., 78, of Keyser, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. 

    Born on February 5, 1947 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Riley Biser, Sr. and Ruth Collene(Shepard) Biser.

    Chuck was a retired Lineman for Potomac Edison electric company and a Catholic by faith. He was a devoted family man, husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

    Left to cherish in his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Janice Leah “Jan” (Tasker) Biser; sons, Sean Biser and wife Sarah (Moran) of Morgantown, Shannon Biser and fiancée Amber Stevenson, Trent Redman and wife Tiffany of Charleston, WV, Shane DuVal and wife Sandy of Keyser, WV, and Chris Brown of Huntington, WV, brother, Gerald “Jerry” Biser and wife Aileen of Bridgeport, WV and his beloved grandchildren, Tyler Biser and wife Chelsea, Jacob Biser, Jackson Biser,Caden Biser, McKaily Moran, Samuel Biser, Carmen Biser, Betsy Redman and Teddy Redman. He is also survived by his adored great-grandchildren, Brooks Biser and Heath Biser and  his two nephews, Aaron Biser and Evan Biser.

    The family wishes to say a special thank you to the amazing staff at WVU home health, WVU greeters, WVU ER department and WVU 5th floor ICU, and Lynx ambulance for their compassion, kindness, and care.

    Friends will be received on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 8:00pm with Deacon Bradley as celebrant.
