Charles Kenneth Smith, Jr.

     KEYSER, WV - Charles Kenneth Smith, Jr., 71, of Keyser, died on Friday, February 24, 2023 at his residence.

     Born on May 30, 1951 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Kenneth Smith, Sr. and Madeline, M. (DelSignore) Smith.

     Charles graduated from Elk Garden High School and was a retired as a self-employed Truck Driver. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

    Surviving are his daughter, Tina M. Luttrell and husband, JR; his granddaughter, Kiersten Heavener and husband Tyler; his brother, Mike J. Smith and wife Debra; his sisters, Charlene Junkins and Linda Coffman and his two great-grandchildren, Samuel and Paisley. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and furry friends Bud and Dog.

     Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Charles K. Smith, Jr. to the Mineral County Humane Society, c/o Joy Fertig, 831 Cut Off Road, Keyser, WV 26726.

     In respecting Charles’ wishes he will be cremated and there will be no public viewing or funeral service.

     Friends are welcome to join the family for inurnment that will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Nethken Hill Cemetery in Elk Garden, WV at 2:00pm.
