Carol Jean “Babydoll” Campbell

   KEYSER, WV- Carol Jean “Babydoll” Campbell, age 80, of Keyser, WV passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Egle Nursing Home in Lonaconing, MD.
   She was born December 18, 1942 in Petersburg, WV and was a daughter of the late Winston V. Beckwith and Louella (Patch) Redman Beckwith.
   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Campbell on December 21, 2008; a granddaughter, Tayler S. Minney; four sisters, Lillian Redman, Judith Ann "Molly" Redman, Leota "Doll" Redman and Irene Mae Gaiter and three brothers, Jobe Redman, King “Bud” Beckwith, an infant, Louie Winston Beckwith.
   Babydoll was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Petersburg, WV. She enjoyed going to church, watching westerns and spending time with family and friends.
   Surviving are her son, John C. Campbell of Winchester, VA; one daughter, Brigitte J. Minney of Keyser, WV; five grandchildren, John Campbell II, Sharon Martinez,  Tyler Minney, Tanner Minney and Tristan Washington; nine great-grandchildren, Scott Kittrell III, Jaida Lease, Jonaven Campbell, Khirynn Minney, Hartlee Fazzalore, Jareziah Harris, Uliyana Martinez, Karsynn Plater and Kourtlynn Plater; one brother, Pastor Calvin S. Redman of Petersburg, WV; one sister, Lola Gates of Cumberland, MD; two very special friends, Diane and Steve Liller of Keyser. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

   Memorial contributions may be made to the Markwood Funeral Home, P.O. Box 912, Keyser, WV 26726, to help defray funeral expenses.
   Friends will be received on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Markwood Funeral Home from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm.  Funeral service will be held at the Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Assembly, 231 Newton Street, Keyser on Friday, October 20, 2023 at noon with Pastor Calvin S. Redman and Minister’s John Campbell and S. Webb, Jr. officiating. Interment following the funeral services in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.

   Arrangements have been entrusted in the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
