Carol Ellen (Troutman) Tichnell

     Carol Ellen (Troutman) Tichnell, 73, of Elk Garden WV, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

     Born February 08, 1952, in Frostburg Maryland, to Evelyn Marie (Winebrenner) Troutman and John Troutman. She is preceded in death by her parents: and siblings, John Troutman, Roy Troutman Sr, Cecelia Troutman, and Charlene Knox.

     Surviving is her husband, David Tichnell who she loved with all her heart; her special granddaughter and caregiver, Stephanie Huffman; her children, Cindy Sharp, New Caney, Texas, Detricia (Dee) Dunbar, Deer Park, MD, Denver (Ike) Eichorn, Oakland, MD, Candy Welch, Elk Garden, WV, Carol Van Brunt, Elk Garden, WV, Anna Stewart, Rawlings, MD, Kiera Coakley, Keyser, WV and Jonathon Tichnell, Elk Garden, WV. 30 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

     In lieu of services, the family will have a private celebration of life.

     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser.
