Carol Ann (Adams) Jordan

Keyser, WV – Surrounded by her loving family, Carol Ann Jordan, 86, went to be with Jesus and her beloved husband of nearly 53 years, Charles Lynn Jordan, on Wednesday June 10, 2026 at her daughter’s home near Point Marion, PA.

Born on December 23, 1939 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Hazel (Mcllwee) and Elmer Lee Adams, Sr.  She is also preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Paul Adams, brother-in-law, John Camplain and sister-in-law, Iris Camplain.

Carol had many friends and was an active member of the Future Homemakers Club of America, and the National Honor Society as a member of the Keyser High School Class of 1957.  She also continued to be very active as the class Secretary in planning and organizing their class reunions.  She was a master organizer in everything she did.

After working as a clerk for a few years at Olan Mills Photography and Jay’s Shoe Store in Keyser, she married her high school sweetheart, and love of her life (Charles Jordan), became an army wife, homemaker and mother, of 3 children.  She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church for over 75 years in Keyser.

She lived life through her husband, children, and 3 grandchildren.  She enjoyed canning, sewing, baking, traveling, and spending time with family during holidays and birthdays.  She always tried to make things perfect.

Surviving are her children, Clarissa A. Harris and husband, Ken of Oakland, MD; Chris L. Jordan and wife, Stacey of Keyser; and Carlotta “CJ” J. Smith and husband, Jerry of Lake Lynn, PA; her grandchildren, Kevin Harris and wife, Helen; KJ Harris, Christopher “Cole” Jordan and her brother, Elmer Lee Adams, Jr. and wife, Donna of Boise, ID.  She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Bruce D. and Harrell “Keith” Jordan and wife, Beverly of Keyser; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Marlin Early and husband, Chris of Morgantown, WV and Tina Adams of Fresno, CA.

Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser on Monday, June 15, 2026 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  Additional viewing will take place at Grace United Methodist Church, 30 South Mineral St., Keyser on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 12-1pm, followed by a funeral service with Reverend John Langenstein officiating at 1pm, and interment in Potomac Memorial Gardens at 597 Cemetery Rd., Keyser.
