Canaan William Cutter

      It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of infant baby Canaan William Cutter on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at John Hopkins Hospital in the loving arms of his parents.

     Born on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 6 pounds, 6.7 oz and 18.5 inches long, he was the treasured baby boy of Thane Bryant Cutter and Alexis Nicole (Rice) Cutter. 

     Baby Canaan spent nine cherished days with his family and experienced lots of cuddles, hugs and kisses and hearing the words “I love you”. He touched countless amounts of lives during his time here and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

     He will be forever remembered and loved by his Mommy and Daddy; his siblings, Reagan T. Cutter and Israel B. Cutter; grandparents, Davina and Wayne Cutter, Cheryl Rice and significant other Donald Scott and Jerry Rice and significant other Annette Flanigan; great-grandmother, Cindy Rice; aunts and uncles, Krystina Powell and husband Kenny, Patrick Rice, Taylor Douthitt and husband Ollie, Taylor Preston and husband Ben and special uncle, Uriah Cutter. His great-uncle, Elon Patterson and great-aunt, Ena Logsdon and husband Jeff. He is also survived by cousins, Blake Carlile, Camden Harper, Paisley Harper, Everly Douthitt, Ryder Douthitt, Ace Preston, Palmer Preston and extended family members.

     Friends will be received on Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Fountain United Brethren Church from 1:00 – 3:00pm. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00pm with Reverend Dwight Walker officiating. Interment will be held in Centenary Cemetery.
